Elsevier Affiliate Program

What is the Elsevier Affiliate Program?

Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards its affiliates for each visitor or customer resulting from the affiliate’s own marketing efforts. The Elsevier Affiliate Program allows affiliates to promote our products within their own properties or electronic media in the attempt to drive qualified traffic to Elsevier’s online store. When purchases result from these traffic referrals, affiliates earn a commission on the amount of the sale.

What can I promote?

As an affiliate, you will be able to promote Elsevier products offered through the Elsevier Store that best match your audience. Promotional offers will be storewide, theme-driven, title-specific and/or subject/imprint-specific to provide a wide array of opportunities for affiliates. We will provide you with promotions and creative materials (i.e. banners, ad copy, etc.) or you can choose to use your own artwork or content, as long as you comply with the existing Elsevier promotions.

How much commission can I earn?

Affiliates that send visitors to store.elsevier.com will typically earn 8-10%* commission on sales generated. (*Introductory 10% commission for the first six months, and 8% base commission thereafter.)

How do I get started?

To join this free program, you will need to sign up as an affiliate with Commission Junction (CJ) and ask to join the Elsevier Affiliate Program. Once you are accepted, you will be given access to a variety of affiliate promotions and creative materials (i.e. banners, ad copy, etc.).
