Nathalie Monnier

Lecturer at the IUT Nancy-Brabois, Department Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering of the University of Lorraine, France. Since 1999 she performs her research at the Laboratory Reactions and Process Engineering (UMR CNRS 7274) in the team SAFE (Security / Aerosols / Filtration / Explosions). His work focuses on the simulation of multiphase flows in the case of gas-particle separation processes (pleated filters, granular beds) and dust explosions. She is also interested in aerosol deposition in the pulmonary tract. The main applications of this research are aimed at the safety of people (respirators, safety filters), the environment (atmospheric particulate emissions) and methods (protection filter).
