Karen Sullivan

Karen Sullivan is faculty at Ringling College of Art and Design, teaches courses in history, concept development, and preproduction practices for animation. She has lectured internationally on story development for the animated short, written articles and guest-edited SIGGRAPH issues on concept development for animation.

Affiliations and Expertise

Teaches story and visual development at Ringling School of Art and Design specialized for the needs of the animator. Former cover editor for SIGGRAPH’s Computer Graphics Journal, and the 2002 chair of the SIGGRAPH Art Gallery. Lectured in the US and Taiwan on story development for the animated short and written articles and guest-edited SIGGRAPH issues on concept development for animation.
