Jonathan Lazar

Dr. Jonathan Lazar is a professor in Computer and Information Sciences, and director of the Undergraduate Program in Information Systems, at Towson University in Maryland. He also founded, and was director of the Universal Usability Laboratory at Towson University from 2003-2014. Dr. Lazar has published more than 130 refereed articles in journals, books, and conference proceedings. He has also authored three books and edited four, including Research Methods in Human-Computer Interaction (Wiley, 2010), Universal Usability: Designing Computer Interfaces for Diverse User Populations (Wiley, 2007), and Web Usability: A User-Centered Design Approach (Addison Wesley, 2006). Since 2010, Dr. Lazar has served as the chair of public policy, for the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI).
