Jalil Boukhobza

In 2006, he became a lecturer in computer science at the University of Western Brittany in the laboratory Lab-STICC. He has worked on issues related to the compilation and synthesis application of reconfigurable FPGA architecture to accelerate computation. He actively participated in the European FP6 project Morpheus until 2008. In 2009, he decided to create a new theme little studied in France and linked to the optimization of storage systems based on non-volatile memory, especially flash memories. Dr. Boukhobza performed several scientific collaborations associated with data storage, cloud, HPC and embedded systems, optimization of storage access for high performance databases as well as in the field of the Internet of Things. His current research topics include the evaluation of storage system performance for high performance architectures and embedded systems ; operating systems and hardware architectures and energy consumption memory hierarchies.
