Gerd Szwillus

Gerd Szwillus is a professor for practical computer science at the University of Paderborn, Germany. He has worked in the field of user interface specification andimplementation for the last 5 years. His research interests are in graphical structure editors, object-orientation, user interface development tools, graphical constraints and concepts and tools for early prototyping of user interfaces. Together, Lisa Neal and Gerd Szwillus organized a workshop on Structure Editors at the 1990 CHI conference in Seattle, Washington, and edited a special issue of the International Journal of Man-Machine Studies on this topic.
